Smart Chemical Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Ingram as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026.
Stephen brings both deep institutional knowledge and broad industry experience to this role. Having served on the Smart Chemical Services Board of Directors since the company's acquisition last year, he possesses direct insight into our operations, our people, and our strategic direction. He steps into this role not as an outsider, but as a leader closely invested in the success of this business.
A Second-Generation Oilman
Stephen is a second-generation oilman; for him, the energy industry is more than a career—it is a legacy. His professional path reflects that depth, spanning decades of technical and executive leadership at Halliburton.
Stephen's academic background reinforces his field experience. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and dual Master's degrees in Natural Gas Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
"I grew up in this industry. I watched my father build his career in the oilfield, and I built mine the same way, one well at a time," says Ingram.
